They are learning core field skills and developing consistency while still allowing the handler to be involved in shaping the dog’s continued training. Started dogs are ideal for those who want a solid foundation without starting from the very beginning.
Seasoned Dogs
Seasoned dogs have progressed beyond foundational training and have gained substantial experience in real hunting environments. These dogs demonstrate increased reliability, understanding of expectations, and the ability to work through a variety of field situations. Seasoned dogs are well suited for those seeking a capable and confident hunting companion with proven exposure.
What to Expect From These Dogs
Dogs offered at the started and seasoned levels have been trained with consistency, patience, and attention to temperament. Emphasis is placed on producing dogs that are responsive in the field, steady in their work, and adaptable both during the hunt and at home.
